This Privacy Policy explains how HubAmp Inc. (who we call “HubAmp,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information from people who use our AmpVortex app (the “App”), our websites (https://www.hubamphome.com), and related products and services (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through the App and our Services, and also to personal information you give us directly. This Privacy Policy also applies to any of our other websites that display it.
Please understand that by using the App or the Services, you accept the practices and policies we describe here, and you agree that we will collect, use, and share your personal information as explained below. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App or the Services.

1. What Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information about you in several ways:Information You Give Us: When you use the App or Services, we collect personal information that you provide. Depending on how you use the App or Services and communicate with us, this includes:
- General Identifiers: Such as your email address if you choose to contact us or create an account on the HubAmp forum.
- Online Identifiers: Such as your username, password, and security questions if you create a HubAmp account, information we automatically collect using cookies and similar technologies on our websites, and your IP address or other information if you submit a service ticket.
- Commercial Information: Such as your billing address, shipping address, information we collect to process your purchases and ship devices to you, as well as the items you view, put in your cart or add to your wishlist. We also collect your preferences for marketing communications.
- Audio, Electronic, and Visual Information: This includes recordings of conversations made with your consent (for example, during a support call).
- Customer Support Information: Including the information you choose to include in communications with us, for example, when sending a message through the Services.
- Other Information You Provide: Any other details you choose to give us.
Cookies and Automatic Data Collection: We and our third-party partners automatically collect certain information about your interaction with our Services (“Usage Data”) when you visit our websites, use our App or products, read our emails, or otherwise engage with us. Usage Data may include information about how you access and use our App, websites, Services and your account, including device information, browser information, information about your network connection, your IP address, your general geographic location as indicated by your IP address, and other information regarding your interaction with the Services. To do this, we use a variety of tracking technologies, including cookies (small data files stored on your device), pixels, web beacons, embedded scripts, mobile SDKs, location-identifying technologies, and logging technologies, and we may use third-party partners or technologies to collect this information. Information we collect automatically about you may be combined with other personal information we collect directly from you or receive from other sources.
Information We Obtain from Third Parties: Finally, we may obtain information about you from third parties, including from vendors and service providers who may collect information on our behalf, such as:
- Our payment processors, who collect payment information (e.g., bank account, credit or debit card information, billing address) to process your payment in order to fulfill your orders and provide you with products or services you have requested, in order to perform our contract with you.
- When you visit our App and Services, open or click on emails we send you, or interact with our Services or advertisements, we, or third parties we work with, may automatically collect certain information using online tracking technologies such as pixels, web beacons, software developer kits, third-party libraries, and cookies.
- Any information we obtain from third parties will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible or liable for the accuracy of the information provided to us by third parties and are not responsible for any third party’s policies or practices. 2.How We Use Your Personal Information
Generally, we use your personal information in the following ways, as well as for other purposes described in this Privacy Policy or explained to you when we collect your personal information:To Provide the Services and Personalize Your Experience: We use your personal information to provide the Services to you, including:
- To provide you with the Services in order to perform our contract with you, including to process your payments, fulfill your orders, to send notifications to you related to you account, purchases, returns, exchanges or other transactions, to create, maintain and otherwise manage your account, to arrange for shipping, facilitate any returns and exchanges and to enable you to post reviews.
- To give you a personalized experience when you use the App or the Services, for instance, by delivering relevant content.
- To send you information about your relationship or transactions with us.
- To improve or develop features, products, or services.
Marketing: We use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as to send marketing, advertising and promotional communications by email, text message or postal mail, to show you advertisements for products or services, to update you on a support issue, or to invite you to take part in a survey. This may include using your personal information to better tailor the Services and advertising on our websites.
Compliance and Protection: We use any of the categories of personal information described above to:
- Comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal processes (for example, responding to subpoenas or requests from government authorities).
- Protect our, your, and others’ rights, privacy, safety, and property (including by making and defending legal claims).
- Audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements and internal policies.
- Enforce the terms and conditions that govern the App and our Services.
- Prevent, identify, investigate, and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.
Communicating with You: We use your personal information to provide you with customer support and improve our Services. This is in our legitimate interests in order to be responsive to you, to provide effective services to you, and to maintain our business relationship with you.
3.How We Share Your Personal Information
We disclose all categories of personal information described above with the following types of third parties:Affiliates: We share your personal information with our affiliated companies or within our corporate group, in our legitimate interests to run a successful business.
Third-Party Service Providers: We provide your personal information to third-party service providers that help us offer the Services to you through the App or otherwise, and to operate our business (e.g., IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment and shipping).
Professional Advisors and Partners: We provide your personal information to our third-party vendors, including but not limited to music services, other audio content partners, and voice partners, in the course of the services they provide to us.
Corporate Restructuring: We share some or all of your personal information in connection with or during the negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition, or dissolution, or any transaction or proceeding involving the sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets. In the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, personal information is also transferable as a business asset. If another company acquires our business or assets, that company will possess the personal information collected by us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Other Disclosures: HubAmp will disclose your personal information if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary for any of the following:
- In connection with a legal investigation.
- To comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on us.
- To protect or defend our rights or property, or that of our users.
- To investigate or assist in preventing any violation or potential violation of the law, this Privacy Policy, or our Terms of Service.
- When you direct, request us or otherwise consent to our disclosure of certain information to third parties, such as to ship you products or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations, with your consent.
4.User Generated Content
The Services may enable you to post product reviews and other user-generated content. If you choose to submit user generated content to any public area of the Services, including the HubAmp forum, this content will be public and accessible by anyone.
We do not control who will have access to the information that you choose to make available to others, and cannot ensure that parties who have access to such information will respect your privacy or keep it secure. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of any information that you make publicly available, or for the accuracy, use or misuse of any information that you disclose or receive from third parties.
5.Third Party Websites and Links
Our App and Services may provide links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms and conditions. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites, including the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information found on these sites. Information you provide on public or semi-public venues, including information you share on third-party social networking platforms may also be viewable by other users of the Services and/or users of those third-party platforms without limitation as to its use by us or by a third party. Our inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement of the content on such platforms or of their owners or operators, except as disclosed on the Services.
6.Cookies and Other Similar Technologies
We use cookies to power and improve our websites and our Services (including to remember your actions and preferences), to run analytics and better understand user interaction with the Services (in our legitimate interests to administer, improve and optimize the Services). We may also permit third parties and services providers to use cookies on our websites to better tailor the services, products and advertising on our websites.
Most browsers automatically accept cookies by default, but you can choose to set your browser to remove or reject cookies through your browser controls. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking cookies can negatively impact your user experience and may cause some of the Services, including certain features and general functionality, to work incorrectly or no longer be available. Additionally, blocking cookies may not completely prevent how we share information with third parties such as our advertising partners. Your browser may offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) option, which allows you to signal to websites and online services that you do not want your online activities tracked. At this time, we do not support the DNT browser setting or respond to DNT signals.
We may also use small graphic files called pixels (also known as web beacons or pixel tags) in our emails and on our websites. Pixels help us understand how you interact with our content—for example, whether an email was opened or a page was viewed. In some cases, we work with third-party partners (such as Google, Facebook, and other advertising networks) who use similar technologies to deliver ads that are more relevant to your interests.
7.Children’s Data
Our App and the Services are not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 16. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us using the contact details set out below so that we can take appropriate action.
8.Security and Retention of Your Personal Information
We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we use reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.
We keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. How long we retain your personal information depends on different factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce other applicable contracts and policies.
9.Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights listed below in relation to your personal information. However, these rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances and, in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.Right to Access / Know. Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing or Targeted Advertising. You may have a right to direct us not to “sell” or “share” your personal information or to opt out of the processing of your personal information for purposes considered to be “targeted advertising”, as defined in applicable privacy laws. Please note that if you visit our websites with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, depending on where you are, we will automatically treat this as a request to opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of information for the device and browser that you use to visit the website.
Right to Limit and/or Opt out of Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. You may have a right to direct us to limit our use and/or disclosure of sensitive personal information to only what is necessary to perform the Services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average individual.
Restriction of Processing: You may have the right to ask us to stop or restrict our processing of personal information.
Withdrawal of Consent: Where we rely on consent to process your personal information, you may have the right to withdraw this consent.
Appeal: You may have a right to appeal our decision if we decline to process your request. You can do so by replying directly to our denial.
Managing Communication Preferences: We may send you promotional emails, and you may opt out of receiving these at any time by using the unsubscribe option displayed in our emails to you. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or orders that you have made.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to collect information from you to verify your identity, such as your email address or account information, before providing a substantive response to the request. In accordance with applicable laws, You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required under applicable law.

If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, depending on where you live you may have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us using the contact details set out below, or lodge your complaint with your local data protection authority.
10.International Users
Please note that our App and the Services are hosted in the United States. If you use our App or our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your personal information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our servers are located and our central database is operated. The data protection and privacy laws of the United States can differ from the laws in your country. By using our App or our Services, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States or other countries as described in this Privacy Policy.
If we transfer your personal information out of Europe, we will rely on recognized transfer mechanisms like the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or any equivalent contracts issued by the relevant competent authority of the UK, as relevant, unless the data transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page and update the “Effective Date” at the top. If required by applicable law, we will also notify you through other means, such as email or in-app notifications. Unless otherwise stated, changes will become effective upon posting. 13.U.S. State Privacy Rights Addendum
This U.S. State Privacy Rights Addendum supplements our general Privacy Policy by providing additional information about our privacy practices relating to individual residents of certain states, including, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Depending on your residency and applicable laws, you may have the rights described below regarding your personal information.

Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for monetary compensation. However, we may share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, which may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state laws.
Residents of certain states, including California and Virginia, have the right to opt out of the sale of their personal information or its sharing for targeted advertising. 14.European Privacy Rights Addendum
This European Privacy Rights Addendum applies to individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland and explains your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable UK and Swiss data protection laws.
